Artangel asked us to evaluate and update their visual identity. Having carried out a period of research and an audit of their existing brand and materials, we reimagined the Artangel ‘A’ as a graphic window
or frame through which to view the world of art and artists. This device creates a simple and iconic graphic language, complementing and enhancing, rather than subverting the existing logo. Over the course of a year we implemented the new brand guidelines across all Artangel collateral, creating a strong and cohesive visual identity that effectively communicates both Artangel as a brand and its activities.

Since re-branding Artangel we’ve gone on to create show identities for Ryan Gander, Laveena Greenlaw, Sija Kameric and
Anri Sala.
